Students may apply for a variety of financial aid assistance using the FAFSA or CA Dream Act and scholarships applications.
All financial aid is disbursed directly to the student through their student account. Check your Pipeline account regularly for any information regarding your SBCC financial aid.
Contacting The Financial Aid Office
The friendly staff at the SBCC financial aid office are available to help you in a
variety of ways. The national pandemic has allowed us to be creative in assisting
you. We hope one of the following ways of communicating will suit your needs.
If you need one-on-one help our Virtual Front Desk (VFD) or Face-To-Face (F2F) hours
might be best for you. Click below for more information.
For quick general questions please call our office. Unfortunately, only general questions can be answered as we cannot verify your identity using this method. For in-depth questions, the VFD or F2F is your best option.
Sometimes you will need to explain in detail your financial aid question. To do this, contact your assigned financial aid advisor by clicking the Advisors button below. They will be happy to work with you via email, zoom, or phone.
Sometimes you will be asked to submit documents to the financial aid office. You can do that here using our ShareFile or going through pipeline and submitting documents through Verifymyfafsa.
